Matt plays a black Remo 7-piece double bass kit with three rack toms, one floor tom and either a Conaway maple snare or a Leedy-Ludwig vintage snare. He also plays many cymbals, including 14" A Zildjian New Beat hi-hats (from the '70s), 10 and 12" A Zildjian splashes, a 16" A Zildjian medium-thin crash, a 16" A Zildjian Rock crash, an 18" A Zildjian medium crash, a 22" Zildjian A Custom Ping Ride, and 12 and 16" Wuhan Chinas. A 7-piece lacquered GMS Grand Masters kit with one 20" bass drum (with an Axis longboard double bass pedal), two rack toms (10 and 12") on a stand to the left of the bass, two floor toms to the right (14 and 16"), one floor tom to the left (18"), and a 7x13" snare would be nice.
Jess uses the band-supplied microphone and is learning to play her new acoustic guitar. Jess would love for her brother to get finished with the construction of her new, custom-built electric guitar so she could learn to play it.
